Bottles on the wedding table are among the main elements of the table that guests see when they take their seats. A classic paper label quickly goes soft from moisture and can be ruined after the very first toast. A 3D-printed bottle tag is durable, three-dimensional and can take any shape – it looks like part of the decoration, not an ordinary add-on.
At dothat, we design and produce personalised bottle tags – locally in Poland, from 100 pcs. Below we show what you can customise in them, where to look for ideas and how ordering works.
What are wedding bottle tags?
They are small personalised decorations placed on the neck of a glass bottle – vodka, wine, prosecco or lemonade. At a wedding, they play several roles at once:
- they decorate the table in the reception’s theme colours,
- they carry important information – the couple’s names, the wedding date, the name of the drink,
- they make a keepsake – a drink with a personalised tag can be a gift for guests.
We make the tags using 3D printing from materials such as PLA filament. The tags are attached with a cord in any colour, threaded through a special hole in the tag and tied around the neck of the bottle.
We match the size of the product to the design – for example 40 × 40 × 3 mm.
Which elements of a bottle tag can you personalise?
Every element of a dothat tag can be matched to the style of the wedding. That way it can become a truly unique decoration that fits the whole theme of the celebration. Here are the personalisation details:
- Shape – flat or three-dimensional (3D): a heart, a leaf, a monogram, a motif from the venue or something completely your own.
- Colour – a wide palette of filament colours, including a glow-in-the-dark PLA FLUO version – a great effect for the later, evening part of the party.
- Print – full-colour UV printing with names, the date, initials or artwork: vivid colours, smooth tonal transitions and photorealistic details.
- Texture – a raised relief that highlights selected elements of the artwork.
- Finish – matt, gloss or a combination.
- Cord – in any colour, e.g. to match the colour of ribbons, flowers or napkins.
Wedding bottle tag ideas
Not sure where to start or what bottle tags should look like to match the theme of your reception? Don’t worry! At dothat, we’ve put together a few ideas to inspire you.
Here are a few directions worth starting from:
- The couple’s names and wedding date – a classic that instantly says whose wedding it is.
- A monogram – intertwined initials that match the invitations and place cards.
- A heart or wedding rings – a simple shape that looks good in any colour scheme.
- The wedding theme – a flower from the bouquet, a leaf, a citrus fruit or even a motif from the venue.
- A play on words – our “Mint to be” design (from “meant to be”) is a tag shaped like a mint leaf that takes on a new meaning at a wedding.
You can also start from a ready-made design and adapt it to your preferences: change the colour, add names or the date.
A matching set for the wedding table
Tags look best as part of a set. Our range also includes products that fit nicely on the wedding table and beyond. In the same style and colours, we can prepare:
- drink markers – guests won’t mix up their glasses, and the marker stays with them as a small keepsake,
- lacquer seals – seals for invitation envelopes and packaging,
- wine stoppers – a decorative, personalised top with a wooden cone.
We showed a wedding set like this in the Wedding zone of the dothat stand at the PROMO SHOW 2023 trade fair.
How to order wedding bottle tags?
Placing an order and the whole process are remarkably simple and intuitive. Ordering takes three steps:
- Tell us your idea – a sketch, artwork or description is enough. We’ll design the rest around your vision.
- Design and prototype – together we fine-tune the shape, colours and fastening. You’ll receive the design from us, followed by a photo of the prototype for approval.
- Production – once the prototype is approved, we start production and ship the finished tags. We can pack them individually in bags or in bulk – whichever you prefer.
Start with our form – it’s 5 short steps to fill in. We write more about the personalisation process itself in the post How to order 3D gadgets from 100 pcs.
