See how dothat products are made – from the very first idea to the finished gadget. Using Ekonewka as an example, we show you the whole process of creating one of our best-known products.
In the beginning there was chaos
Seriously. Ideas popped up everywhere – from the inspiration board to our sketchbooks.
The goal was to create:
- a small, functional gadget
- a product with high personalisation potential
- a solution that combines form and usefulness
That’s how Ekonewka was born – a bottle cap with a universal thread that turns a bottle into a watering can for plants.
What next?
The next stage was to put the concept in order:
- brainstorming
- design analysis
- two teams at work: creative and production
At this stage, the idea starts to become a real product.
Modelling and prototyping
Next, we move on to the technical stage:
- creating the 3D model
- preparing a prototype
- functional tests
- checking fit and performance
This is the moment when the design starts to “come alive” in physical form.
The exciting part
This is the stage that brings the most satisfaction:
- the first 3D prints
- tests on bottles
- fine-tuning colours and textures
- settling on the final look of the product
Every detail is perfected before the product goes into production.
Ta-da – Ekonewka is ready!
The moment we hold a finished product that was only a sketch a short while ago is the most important stage of the whole process.
Every product:
- goes through a final quality check
- is inspected under a magnifying glass
- is prepared for presentation and sale
How long does the process take?
An order usually takes 2–4 weeks from design approval – depending on the quantity.
How does Ekonewka work?
Using it takes literally a moment:
- Unscrew the cap from a plastic bottle.
- Screw on Ekonewka in its place.
- Start watering – plants at home, in the office or on the balcony.
Ekonewka has a universal thread that fits most PET bottles. If you are planning a non-standard bottle, we’ll check the fit based on the bottle’s specifications before we start production.
