Knitted pom-pom hats
For Orion Rail we prepared personalised knitted pom-pom hats, made in the brand colours and finished with the logo on a leather label.
From design to finished product
The design of the hat and label alongside the finished product. The folded label shows the logo on both sides of the cuff.
Technical details
We placed the logo on a leather label fitted over the edge of the cuff. We folded the label in half and fixed it with a metal rivet, so on the finished hat it measures 20 × 30 mm.

A winter hat with a leather label – how did we do it?
- Challenge
A fancy stitch, marled knit and a winter hat with a logo
The personalised winter hats were to combine the Orion Rail Logistics brand colours: navy, grey and green. The design was based on a three-dimensional fancy stitch and a marled texture created by combining grey yarn with navy and green.
This knit construction ruled out reproducing the logotype legibly directly in the stitch. Especially as the logo has thin lettering that is also hard to reproduce as embroidery.
- Solution
A personalised hat with a leather logo label
Instead of embroidery, we used a leather label with the logo, fixed on the edge of the hat’s cuff. The smooth surface of the label kept even the small elements of the Orion Rail Logistics symbol legible.
We engraved the logo and fixed the label with a metal rivet. The cognac shade of the leather contrasts with the marled knit and gives the company hat a distinctive detail.

Personalised winter hats with a logo
The result was company winter hats with the client’s logo that combine the brand colours with a bold stitch and legible branding. The leather label became an integral part of the design, so the logo doesn’t look like an add-on label but like an element of a well-thought-out personalised winter hat design.
