From the very beginning, the dothat brand has been built on the idea of creating products tailored to individual needs. In the promotional gifts industry, we noticed a lack of solutions that combine full personalisation of shape and branding with low production runs, made entirely in Poland.
3D printing technology and the use of PLA
Making this vision real was possible thanks to 3D printing and PLA, a material made from plant-based raw materials.
Key principles of the process:
- no moulds or cutting dies
- the ability to create any three-dimensional form
- small-batch and prototype production
- complete design freedom for the client
How does the process work?
- Idea – you tell us what you need: a brief, a sketch, a photo or an inspiration
- Design – we choose the technical solutions and prepare a design that matches your brand identity
- Prototype – before main production, we make a prototype for approval
- Production – once approved, we produce the agreed quantity
- Ready – we pack the order and prepare it for shipping
Which elements can we personalise?
At dothat, personalisation covers many levels of the design.
Shape
- any form tailored to your design – a logo, a symbol or your own motif
- flat or three-dimensional versions
- the option to choose from ready-made designs
Colour
- a wide palette of filament colours for the base of the product
- a base colour matched to your brand’s visual identity
- a glow-in-the-dark version in PLA fluo
Branding
- full-colour UV printing – vivid colours and smooth tonal transitions
- logos, slogans, website addresses or illustrations
- double-sided designs with different prints
Texture
- any surface pattern
- raised details that highlight selected elements of the artwork
Finish
- a matt or gloss surface
- combining both effects, e.g. a matt background and a gloss logo
- bringing out the colours, texture and depth of the design
MattGloss
Example: drink markers
Personalisation always goes in stages:
- shape and colour
- branding
- texture
- finish
Drink markers can take different forms (e.g. a heart, a flower, a star) and can be fully tailored to the client’s design.
