Phone lanyard with a bead
As members of the Polish Chamber of Promotional Products (PIAP), we prepared a product for the organisation to hand out at trade fairs. We developed a new way of personalising phone lanyards – a custom lanyard bead.
We handled the whole order, creating a set of branded lanyards together with the beads.

Technical details
The bead is shaped like a present with the words “PIAP MEMBER”. Inside is a channel for threading the cord, so the bead stays free to move along it.

A practical gift at trade fairs
As a member of the Polish Chamber of Promotional Products (PIAP), we wanted to create a product to hand out at trade fairs. The recipients were people who work with promotional gadgets and products every day, so the project had to stand out for more than standard branding.
Promotional lanyards have long been personalised mainly by printing on the strap. So we wanted to propose a solution that would show a completely different way of personalising this product.
- Solution
A personalised bead as a new way of branding a lanyard
We developed a personalised bead for a phone lanyard that is threaded directly onto the cord. Instead of a flat print, the result was a three-dimensional, movable 3D element that is an integral part of the whole promotional gadget.
We made the bead in the shape of a present with the words “PIAP MEMBER”. The raised bow, ribbon and branding keep the detail legible even though it is only 16.5 mm wide.
We handled the whole order, preparing personalised lanyards together with the finished beads, so PIAP received a complete product ready to hand out at the event.
- Result
A personalised gadget that shows what 3D printing can do
At the trade fairs the lanyard went to people who work professionally with promotional gadgets, so the product itself also became a showcase of a new personalisation option.
The 3D bead made the lanyard stand out among classic printed products and showed that promotional items can be personalised not only with graphics but also with a custom-designed three-dimensional element.
