Pins and notebook charms

For the Gliwice shopping centre we created gadgets for the celebrations of its 15 years in business. The theme of the event was French style, together with a competition in which customers could win a trip to Paris in return for their purchases.

The additional prizes included products made by dothat – pins in three designs with a personalised card, and notebook charms in three designs together with a notebook.

Case study

Promotional gadgets for a shopping centre – how did we do it?

  1. Challenge

Promotional gadgets for a shopping centre’s 15th anniversary

The Forum Gliwice shopping centre was celebrating 15 years in business, and the theme of the event was a French atmosphere. The celebrations included a competition in which customers could win a trip to Paris in return for their purchases.

The personalised promotional gadgets were to join the pool of additional prizes, so they had to match the Parisian setting of the event while also working as standalone gifts for the centre’s customers.

  2. Solution

Personalised pins and notebook charms in six designs

We prepared two types of promotional products, each in three designs in the colours of the French flag. The personalised pins showed the Eiffel Tower, a croissant with a cupcake and a cup of coffee. The notebook charms took the form of a jester’s hat, a penny-farthing and the Eiffel Tower.

We mounted the pins on personalised cards with the words “bonne journée” and the Forum Gliwice logo. The notebook charms came as a set with navy and red notebooks.

  3. Result

Personalised promotional products that stay with the customer

The set of promotional gadgets – pins for clothing and notebook charms, six different designs in all – gave the organiser a varied range of prizes and a consistent look in line with the campaign theme.

The pins and personalised notebook charms remain everyday objects – the pin could be worn on clothing, and the charm left on the notebook’s elastic band. As a result, the Forum Gliwice logo stayed visible after the anniversary and the competition were over.
