Technical details

We made the custom date indicator for the three-part calendar in line with EPLAN’s visual identity. The logotype and the distinctive coloured bar form a consistent part of the personalised wall calendar.

A calendar date indicator with a logo – how did we do it?

Challenge

A logotype on a calendar date indicator

The EPLAN logo consists not only of the name but also of a distinctive bar in five colours. When designing the date indicator for the three-part calendar, we had to fit both elements onto a 41 mm wide frame while keeping the logo legible and leaving a large enough area for the date.
Solution

A personalised date indicator with the EPLAN logo

We moved the logo and its coloured bar below the bottom edge of the frame. This way the date indicator kept a fully clear window for the date, and the EPLAN logo stayed legible and clearly visible.
The red letter “e” and the five-colour bar keep the brand’s original colours, so the date indicator is consistent with the visual identity of the whole EPLAN wall calendar.
Result

A company calendar with a personalised date indicator

The non-standard logo layout makes the personalised calendar date indicator clearly different from standard frames. Instead of a neutral accessory, the result is a functional promotional product with a logo that is part of the whole calendar design and strengthens its individual character.
