For ASARTO we prepared a personalised three-part calendar with a date indicator designed around a modified version of the logo symbol. We matched the shape of the indicator to the brand’s visual identity, creating a consistent and distinctive set.

Technical details
The date indicator slides onto the transparent strip of a three-part calendar. Its shape is based on a modified ASARTO symbol, so even its outline echoes the brand’s logo.

A logo-shaped calendar date indicator – how did we do it?
- Challenge
The brand symbol turned into a personalised calendar date indicator
The ASARTO logo is built around a distinctive symbol, and we wanted to keep its shape in the design of the date indicator too.
However, a date indicator for a three-part calendar has to keep a clear central window showing the date. The shape of the symbol therefore had to be adapted to the construction of the indicator, so that it kept the character of the logo while remaining fully functional.

A personalised date indicator inspired by the ASARTO symbol
We based the shape of the date indicator on a modified ASARTO symbol. The distinctive notches and elements reaching beyond the frame echo the logo, while the base colour ties the indicator to the brand’s visual identity.

The date indicator is no longer just a functional calendar accessory. It has become a distinctive part of the design, linking the ASARTO identity with an object used all year round and setting the calendar apart from standard ones.
