Blanket and pillow cover set

For Eblis B&L we prepared a personalised knitted set consisting of a blanket and pillow covers. We made all the pieces by machine knitting, following a custom-designed pattern.

The double-sided blanket was made in two colour versions, with the pattern in negative on the reverse. Matching pillow covers were made for both colour versions.

Technical details

We made the blanket and pillow covers by machine knitting – the pattern is knitted directly into the structure of the fabric. The blanket was designed to be double-sided, in three yarn colours and in two colour versions – each with a colour negative on the reverse. The pillow cover design was traditional, the same on both sides.

Challenge

One pattern for a personalised blanket and pillow covers

The project was to combine a double-sided knitted blanket with personalised pillow covers in one consistent set. The pattern had to look good on both sides of the blanket while also working on a smaller pillow and in two colour versions.
Solution

A double-sided blanket and pillows made by machine knitting

We made the whole set from acrylic yarn using machine knitting. The pattern was knitted directly into the fabric, so it is durable and an integral part of the personalised product.
We designed the blanket to be double-sided – one side is the colour reverse of the other. To complete the set, we prepared personalised pillow covers in two versions, using the same graphic motif.
Result

A set of pillows and a blanket in two versions

The result was a consistent knitted set for Eblis B&L, including a personalised blanket and pillow covers in two colour versions – a contrasting pink and a muted beige. The same pattern works well in both versions, without any change to its construction.
This way one design became the basis for several textile products, creating a consistent collection matched to the brand’s visual identity.
